Q: What Internet content could CyberFlash download?
A: Online music, video, TV show, webpage, highlighted text or picture, and some webmail attachment(s).
Q: I played video again and again, but CyberFlash can't record it. What happen?
A: Online video or music could be played in either file based or streaming type, Some video will be cached in special folder locally for later playback. Tips to record/download are:
- Starting 'Media Recorder' when video or music is playing
- If no recording happen, stop the video/music and restart playing
- If still has no recording, press F5 to reload the webpage
Q: What media type and protocols are supported, or not supported?
A: Comtemprary Adobe Flash, Windows Media and mpeg formats either in file based downloading or in streaming mode by RTMP, RTSP or MMS. Quicktime format and RealMedia in streaming mode are not supported currently.
Q: What does 'Comment' feature mean from console?
A: Writing some comment and associated with downloaded wegpage for user to remember something. It is a valuable feature if the page happens to be online shopping tracking code so that user could monitor status by adding comments
Q: What is the difference of 'Review' and 'Reload' feature in CybereFlash console?
A: 'Review' is to load offline content from local storage. 'Reload' is to load the content from original Internet web server.
Q: How to use CyberFlash to start downloading or recording?
A: Clicking on CyberFlash button from browser toolbar, or from menubar 'Tools', and selecting desired action from submenu.
Q: Some webpage is downloaded with little torture to original page, what happen?
A: Most webpage comtains ActiveX control that is blocked by Internet Explorer for security purpose. Simply clicking on prompt bar from top of browser window to 'Allowing Blocked Content' from Internet Exploer.
Q: How do I organize the folder to archive relevant message togather?
A: There are several ways to do it. (1) use 'Copy To...' or 'Move To...' to copy or move selected message to newly created or existed folder, or (2)drap and drop the message from message view (top right pane) over desired folder
Q: Which default folder is used to store for newly downloaded message?
A: Will go 'Inbox' folder firstly, and you can category it thereafter within CyberFlash console.
Q: Meesage list stored in a folder is very long. Any way to sort?
A: Absolutely, you can use sorting feature to list messages in ascend or descend order by simply clicking on column header, such as 'From', 'Subject' or 'Download Time'.
Q: Can I change subject field to make message header more meaningful?
A: Absolutely. Editing on 'Subject' field to make the subject more meanful.
Q: Failed to launch Microsoft Outlook when doing forwarding. What happen?
A: Make sure MS Outlook be installed properly and 'COM+ System Application' be started (see Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Service). The forwarded content will be zipped under the path of 'C:\CyberFlash\Zip'.
